	As I mentioned on the phone, I was a bit surprised that
David Chudnovsky had asked you to call me about the Science-Labor
committee - apparently expanded to Science-Labor-Business.  In
particular, I don't have a proposal in mind in a form in which
one might begin discussions with a foundation.

	I had thought he had talked with you about our other project
- A magazine to be called something like "Science and Technology
Opinion".  I enclose both my letter to Lane Kirkland, which
relates to Science-Labor, and a draft
prospectus for the magazine.  Such a magazine probably will require
a subsidy, at least at first, and we would be glad to discuss it
and a budget if there is any possibility of Smith-Richardson support.
